Laines Paysannes and Baabuk first came together to prove that Pyrenean wool belongs in footwear. The Izard Sandal is the next chapter of that collaboration. This open sandal was built for summer, without synthetic straps, without unnecessary materials, and without compromising on the natural comfort that brought us back to the Pyrenees a second time.
Wool breathes. It wicks moisture. It does not trap heat. The Izard is designed to let those properties work in full.
Quality: Designed in collaboration with Laines Paysannes. Crafted in Portugal.
Materials: 100% Pyrenean wool upper, hand-sorted by Laines Paysannes from local sheep at the foot of the French Pyrenees. Naturally antibacterial and moisture-wicking. Open weave construction allows continuous airflow while holding the foot securely without friction.
Genuine cork footbed sourced from Portuguese cork oak that is lightweight, sustainable, and responsive to the shape of your foot over time. Lined with REACH-certified suede for a soft, dry, and stable surface. EVA outer sole.

Baabuk ships to most countries
- Switzerland: Free shipping on orders over 100 CHF. 10 CHF for most other orders.
- USA: Free shipping on orders over $200. $15 for most other orders. For our US customers: import tariffs are paid by Baabuk, so your order arrives with no extra fees.
- Other destinations: Free shipping to most countries on orders over €200. Standard shipping rates will be calculated at checkout. Customers outside of the EU may be responsible for any applicable import duties and taxes.
Some items may have special shipping rates, such as small accessories or large home accessories. For these items, shipping rates will be calculated at checkout.
We accept returns & exchanges within 30 days of delivery. We also offer our unique U-Turn option!
For traditional returns and exchanges, items in new and unused condition can be returned within 30 days of delivery. Once we receive your return package, we’ll either replace or refund your order per your request. You are responsible for the cost of return shipping. Read more on our returns page.

365-Day Warranty: We are committed to making sustainable and durable products designed for long- term wear. However, we recognize that the process of working with wool is and art and therefore, some products are more susceptible to faster wear.
