We couldn’t be happier to partner with this Zurich-based chocolatier, and not only because we love supporting fellow Swiss companies. It’s also because these aren’t just any candies. La Flor sources their cocoa beans from small producers in Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador and Venezuela. This supports ethical and sustainable business practices, and allows La Flor to only use beans from a single source in each of their bars. Like wool grown on sheep from different regions has different characteristics, cocoa produced in a specific place has unique flavors and individual characteristics that make for a confection that defines the term “special treat."
