A young company founded in 2013, Baabuk has set itself the mission of creating the most comfortable and responsible line of wool shoes available. The adventure began in the very own kitchen of our founders, Dan and Galina. Since then, the small business has thrived to become an award-winning start-up.

At Baabuk, we make shoes for every occasion and every style, from home to city. Our boots are designed to withstand the coldest of winters, having been tested by the Swiss explorer, Mike Horn, in the South Pole.

Wool, often referred to as a super-fibre, has been used for centuries by men and women for its remarkable and unique characteristics. Water repellent and antibacterial, wool regulates temperature and is extremely comfortable. Not to mention the fact that it’s renewable, biodegradable and sustainable, making it one of the most environmentally friendly fabrics to wear.

Our Baabuk shoes are made in two countries, chosen for their know-how in the manufacture of wool: our slippers come from Nepal and our sneaker are made in Portugal. You can discover our “Beyond Wool Series” here to learn more about our production.
